A BILL to amend and reenact section seventeen, article thirty-four,
chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the
board of respiratory care practitioners.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section seventeen, article thirty-four, chapter thirty of
the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
§30-34-17. Termination.

The board provided for in this article shall terminate
pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this
code, on the first day of July, two thousand two, unless continued
pursuant to the provisions of that article by legislation enacted
prior to the termination date terminated, continued or
reestablished by act of the Legislature.
Note: The purpose of this bill is to correct a code conflict. The
1999 Omnibus Bill (§4-10-5) scheduled this agency for sunset in the
year 2002.
